…that I have become a gnote convert. All this time I didn’t mind Mono and C# and actually used a number of those apps (in fact I still use both Banshee and F-Spot). Tomboy was always fun to use except one thing that drove me crazy: reaction on notification area icon click takes 10 bloody seconds of a Core Quad Q9300 with 2GB or RAM. That isn’t the case with gnote. So if you suffer from this too, I do recommend having a look at gnote. Transition from Tomboy will be transparent.
