Linux at Russian schools

If you are curious, what’s happening with our (ALT Linux’s) project of deploying Linux at Russian schools, we now have a multilingual blog. Right now it’s in English and French. A version in German might follow soon.

We will try to post 2-3 digests per month, but please bear in mind that we are having holidays up to January 11th starting next Tuesday ;-)

HP and color management, more awesomeness

It looks like Hewlett-Packard is working on a display calibration/profiling solution. I have to admit I’m pretty impressed by their attitude to our 2% or the market :)

We were really missing a DDC/CI capable tool that could talk to displays with internal LUT. Now we seem to have it, and judging by documentation the tool is easily extensible (plug-in arch is implemented) to cover more measurement tools and displays.
